La Marzocco Strada X Espresso Machine
The La Marzocco Strada X is the culmination of two years of collaboration between La Marzocco and thirty of the world's finest coffee professionals — a group known as the "Street Team," whose name gave the Strada its identity. The Strada X builds on the original's legacy while combining the most advanced features across La Marzocco's entire product range into a single, modernized platform. A lower profile invites customer engagement across the bar, while an open, expansive work surface gives baristas the room they need to move with speed and precision. Available in 2-group and 3-group configurations.
At the core of the Strada X is an entirely new approach to espresso consistency: mass-based profiling tied to La Marzocco's predictive mass algorithm and Smart Saturation technology, working together to ensure every shot behaves exactly like the one the barista dialed in — regardless of pressure curve, bean freshness, or puck variation.
Why Choose the La Marzocco Strada X
- Mass-Based Profiling – Tying pressure profiles to a target weight via La Marzocco's predictive mass algorithm delivers unparalleled shot-to-shot consistency, even with adventurous pressure curves.
- Smart Saturation – Automates pre-infusion based on backpressure sensed in the grouphead, ensuring every puck is fully saturated before the pump engages — the backbone of the Strada X's consistency and repeatability.
- Paddle-Based Profile Control – A redesigned paddle automatically tunes pressure inputs into a puck-safe profile, with real-time pressure ramping visible in Manual mode as the shot pulls.
- Independent Boilers Per Group – Group-specific boilers allow simultaneous custom brew temperatures, with a separate steam boiler delivering on-demand steam pressure.
- Independent Pumps Per Group – An external pump provides stable pressure for Smart Saturation while group-specific pumps run unique simultaneous pressure profiles.
- Straight-In Portafilters – Faster workflow, less barista strain, and gentler puck loading — combined with an auto steam flush for cleaner groupheads and streamlined service.
- Lower Profile Design – Opens the bar top for customer engagement and gives baristas an expansive, comfortable work area.

We stand behind the coffee equipment we sell and are committed to ensuring our customers have a reliable and enjoyable experience with their machines. Our team is available to support installation, warranty service, and ongoing maintenance throughout the life of your equipment.
Warranty coverage may vary by manufacturer, but the following outlines the standard warranty policies for equipment purchased through our company.
New Equipment Warranty
All new equipment purchased through us includes a minimum 12-month manufacturer parts warranty.
For customers located within our service area, we also provide 12 months of labor coverage for warranty-related service performed by our technicians.
Some manufacturers offer warranties that exceed 12 months. In these cases:
- The manufacturer’s warranty terms apply.
- The exact warranty period will be specified at the time of purchase.
- Product listings or quotes will reflect the manufacturer’s coverage.
Customers Outside Our Service Area
Customers located outside our service area can still purchase equipment from us. In these cases, we will:
- Help connect you with a trusted local service partner
- Coordinate installation support
- Assist with manufacturer warranty claims
- Provide guidance for long-term service and maintenance
Some manufacturers also offer authorized installation packages, which we can help coordinate.
Installation Requirements
Customers are responsible for ensuring that their site is properly prepared prior to installation.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- Electrical requirements
- Plumbing connections
- Proper drainage
- Adequate counter space and ventilation
- Required water filtration systems
If the site is not ready when the technician arrives, additional service and travel charges may apply, and installation may need to be rescheduled.
Water Quality & Filtration Requirements
Proper water quality is one of the most critical factors in protecting coffee equipment.
Water that is too hard, too soft, or improperly filtered can cause:
- Scale buildup
- Boiler damage
- Valve and pump failure
- Premature equipment breakdown
Damage related to poor water quality, scale, or lack of filtration is not covered under warranty.
Many manufacturers provide water testing guidelines or kits. For example, some espresso machine manufacturers include water test kits to verify that water meets their specifications.
Espresso Analyst can help with:
- Installation of appropriate water filtration
- Test water quality where required
- Maintain and replace filters according to manufacturer guidelines
Failure to meet manufacturer water specifications is one of the most common causes of equipment failure and warranty denial.
Our team is happy to recommend appropriate filtration solutions during the purchasing process.
Items Not Covered Under Warranty
The following items and conditions are typically not covered under equipment warranties:
Normal wear parts, including but not limited to:
- Group gaskets
- Portafilter baskets
- O-rings
- Grinder burrs
- Plastic hoppers
- Filters and screens

- Extended parts coverage
- Additional service requirements
- Authorized technician restrictions
- Specific maintenance requirements
